Someone may be thinking, where is the need to do this. But What if you could change the fonts color of any files and folders.
Here I am going to tell you the truth behind this question. Actually Windows have few special feature inside the Operating System to Manage Data. And when you try to use those special feature as per your requirement, you notice that the color of fonts have been changed to BLUE OR GREEN.
Now the next question may be When it will Blue or Green?
Answer 1 for Green color.
When you want to compress the files or folders in windows to reduce the size of it. You can do this by selecting file or folder opening properties of it as shown on image below then..
Click on Advanced option
Tick on Compress content to save space check box then ok
Now click on apply button, a pop will ask you to take changes for this folder only or for this folder and subfolder and files. Just chose as per your requirements. and click ok.
Now you can see that the name of the folder is changed to GREEN color.
Answer 2 for Blue color.
When you want to Encrypt the files or folders in windows to increase the security of it. You can do this by selecting file or folder, opening properties of it as shown on image below then..
Now you are inside the property of the folder name HMG IT SOLUTIONS, Now click on Advanced button to encrypt it.
In Advanced option you have to tick on Encrypt contents to secure data check box then hit ok.
Now you need to click on apply button, you will see the it is asking you to apply changes for this folder only or for subfolders and files, Just select one as per your requirements and hit ok
Now you can see that the color of name HMG IT SOLUTIONS has changed to GREEN
Now you know the secret of changing font color of any file or folder. When this color is changed to its default black color you may understand the attribute of file and folder.
